PROJECT MANAGER WALLONIA (M/F)

What will you have to do?

  • Planning- and resource management
    • Plan, direct and coordinate people and processes to ensure that projects are delivered on time and produce the desired result.
    • Develop comprehensive and detailed project plans to present, monitor and track progress.
    • Inspect work in progress to ensure conformity to specifications and schedules.
    • Track project performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
    • Go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline.
    • Adhere to and enforce the use of the defined project methodology, its standards, its documentation, its processes and its documentation.
    • Ensure that the transfer of the project to the service organization takes place in a high-quality, timely and correct manner.
  • Scope-management
    • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
    • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
    • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
    • Perform quality control throughout the project to maintain the standards expected.
    • Avoid scope-creep.
  • Financial management
    • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
    • Manage the P&L of the project.
  • Communication management
    • Report and escalate to management as needed.
    • Establish and manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders, third parties and vendors.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
    • Prepare and present projects status reports.
    • Follow up, report and possibly escalate issues.
    • Communicate with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals.
    • Provide feedback regarding the performance of project employees.
    • Motivate the project employees.
    • Organize delivery meeting with the internal/external customer.
    • Organize follow-up meetings.
    • Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
  • Risk management
    • Perform risk management to minimize potential risks.
  • Proactively handle project issues and/or risks.

Who are we looking for?

  • Strong analytical skills as a critical thinker and problem solver.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Clear, transparent and correct.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in project P&L management.
  • Administratively well versed and interested.
  • Structured working and acting.
  • Supportive and coaching.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients.
  • Teamworking skills and a collaborative approach to work.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise your workload.
  • IT skills, including the use of MS 365, Teams, Sharepoint.
  • French language: C-level.
  • Dutch language: B-level.
  • English language: B-level.
  • Education: bachelor or master in IT or telecom.
  • Trained in the fundamentals of IT/UCC/D&V
  • Certificates in project management methodologies is a plus (PMI, Prince2, CMM …) .
  • Certificates in ITIL is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience.
